Here is a bag I made from neckties. Completely lined with inside pockets and a zip fastening.

Even the straps are ties Smiley

I am definitely bookmarking this.  Such a great way to use old ties.  I've seen skirts and even a quilt but they need a lot of ties and this bag is a lovely way of saving a few ties, particularly if they are a memory of someone who has died.
I like how you have kept the shape of the ties too. Altogether a great bag.

It would be a great way to remember somebody. It took about 16 ties in total.

The bottom is flat, you can see where that's stitched. I was tempted so sew along the zig zag though.
