online- ebay is the best, even with its flaws

around Atlanta, Paris on Ponce (off Ponce de Leon) has a lot of Life Magazine and McCalls.

just wait! in a few months i'll be opening up a crafting supplies shop in Atlanta called Makeshift, and we will be stocked to the gills with good and reasonably priced vintage magazines and books, along with other stuff for crafting. More info to follow!

The new store sounds fabulous!!! In the mean time, I know that Atlanta Vintage Books on Clarimont used to have a goodly collection of old TIME, LIFE, and LOOK and stuff like that. ALso, National Geographics. But they also changed ownership recently, so they may not have them any more. But it's worth a phone call to try it. Good luck.
