Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I'm so excited!!!  Gozer said YES!  She is going to draw my dogs dressed as matching characters.  So like Cosmo would be the Mad Hatter and Luna would be Alice...or something like that.  She can chose who to draw them as.  Every time I see her drawings I drool, so my heart is a flutter thinking of my babies in her style Grin

This is way better then the prom Grin  I didn't go to the prom.  I was doing a belly dance performance with a pro troop. Speaking of belly dancing.....Smeddly, I know it's scary to just up and ask someone out of the blue.  I've been wanting to talk to Gozer about doing the drawings for over a year now.  And truth up, I would have had a very sad day today if she had said no.  My outer grown-up is a bigger baby then my inner child is when it comes to rejection.  My inner child just finds something sparkly to play with while the outer gown up ob coms about it all.  But I just wanted to let you know that it feels really nice if the person you ask says yes....and there are many many many craftsters that are swap worthy to ask.  So be brave wiggle one and ask someone Grin

 I thought I bookmarked this and didn't.
Wow! I hope I can live up to your hopes Suereal! I have never done a dog before but the pics you sent were really cute and I have some ideas.  Wink
I am so excited to see what you come up with. I love surprises!

And I am glad I got Bunny1 when I did. Looks like you will be booked up for a while!  Wink

I danced with a little troupe of just 4 of us.  A friend took classes in high school and then taught me.  I danced independently for awhile in collage too.  I also danced tribal in the SCA...it was cool as I would dance around the fire and stuff.  My mom used to do folk dancing when she was in high school and she likes to sew more then I do, so she made me most of my skirts.  I made my tops though.  I still put on my coin belt and goof around the house some times Grin

Silentblair, I was going to suggest a shimmy-related title, but didn't know how many people would get it.  *bellydancer high five*
