Thanks for looking , My Hubby is so proud of this . It only took us a few hour spread out over two days

Have a great night

It's lovely. Such a great place to sit on a summer afternoon.  I'm so impressed you did all that for so little money.

I love how it looks like it has always been there, right in that spot. Yeah for reclaimed bricks. I also like the zen like center with the gravel. Very yummy and comfortable.

Your yard is looking good!

The patio has the nice view and the wonderful sounds of your water fountain as well!

You both worked hard on this and will now have a spot to enjoy the outdoors!

I'd really love to know how you made this! Is there a web site that was helpful or did you know how to do this kind of thing? I really want to try it myself or with my husband's help

Thanks everyone .. as for learning how there are quite a few videos onl;ine if you google " Red brick patio or red brick path " . but basically you clear the grass from the area you want to use , level off the ground if needed , If you have a ground packing tool  this would be the time to use it ( We didnt have one and We didnt mind the character of the ground being a tad uneven especially since our brick have a ton of texture anyway and wouldnt be flat no matter what We did Smiley )  Next place a layer of weed barrier ( ours was 1 $ at the $ store for an 8x4 sheet - We used 2 sheets ) then you add a thin layer of sand and loose gravel and start placing your bricks in what ever pattern you choose ( some of them can get really intricate and awesome )  then you sweep more loose sand and gravel into the cracks until everything is nice and firm ..Over the next few days try to walk on it " evenly " and if you feel any loose bricks sweep in more sand and gravel - especially after a big rain when the ground is squishy .. this will lock everything nice and tight ( The pathway next to the pond has been laid since late april and feels like its been there forever Smiley
