Details of swap:(Please read carefully as details for this swap have slightly changed since the discussion board. Items no longer need to be 3D, you may also craft embroidery, cross stitch or make a wall art piece)
This swap is for :- one large project – Of your very best work.
6 week crafting time.
Any creature from the sea made as your best artist doll/sculpture/embroidery etc. Whatever you are best at !!! The medium you use is upto you and your partners tastes.
The theme is open to many ideas such as fish, octopus, squid, sea anemones, sharks, whales etc. I would like to keep the creatures real though! No mermaids etc. but you can make your creature whimsical if you want. You may also just craft part of a sea creature for example just the head or the tail! You might be the best at needle felting, or wet felting, making fabric plush creatures, embroidery, making purses, paper mâché, or maybe you are a whiz at clay. I would love to see a gallery at the end of peoples best work, that showcases how good they are
At the end we will have a vote in the gallery to who’s is the best or most liked and I shall think of a prize for the winner which I am willing to give!
Remember this is for 1 Large item, so put all of your time and your skill into this one, I want this Gallery to be awesome..Please remember to post in the forum at least once a week to let us all know you are still here and where you are up to in your craft project. People often get nervous if they haven't heard from their partner in weeks, and no one wants to be nervous when they are crafting such a big item. Please no FLAKERS, they will face the consequences.
