I made this for pottermouth in the Altered Spool Swap. She had Halloween as a possible theme so I ran with it.

Here's one of the three spools - It was "stained" with a little bit of ink.

The raven spool was painted black and covered with papers, and the third is a tiny half-spool stuck to the back of the skellie. I used a wire hanger as the skellie stand - bent to slide into the top of the half-spool and stuck to a small stand at the base.

Come see the awesome Altered Spool Swap gallery here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=433749#axzz34XwBavCH

This is awesome! I love the raven, and the netting, and the mini-bunting...

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

I share your sentiments! Everything about it is amazing. My Boo Spool is on year-round display in the dining room so everyone can fall in love with it.

Thanks again, KC!!!
