I'm having so much fun painting shoes lately. I had a pair of heels I painted years ago that I finally sanded the old image off of, and wanted to put a new image on. The mister had suggested I try my hand at galaxy heels, so off I went.
Does anyone else find it harder to do abstract stuff? It's definitely more challenging for me.

C&C would be greatly appreciated on this. I was nervous that these would look too little like space and too much like random blobs of colour, but they're growing on my quite steadily. Smiley

I like them! Very galactic. Hubbs has great taste for women's wear! I think you did a grand job on your project.
I love the swirl of colors combining...and the stars. I see galaxy in there. Now you need a fancy bow for your hair, and one to tie on your purse  Cheesy Matchy, datchy...ding, ding, ding. Bling.

And yes, loosening up is hard for me. I am trying more abstract things, too. My art is too cut and dried. I am finding things to think outside the box with. And rolling with the flow. It is getting easier.
