I had so much fun making this giraffe...

I knew I was going to make a Giraffe but I had not planned that it was going to be this big... I started with the head and then just added proportionate pieces, ending up with a Giraffe that was just shy of 2 feet tall.

I also started out a completely different colour.. and then decided to change it which made me have to go back and cover it but I happy that I did...

It took me about 4 days to do the spots... so many spots!


But I am so happy with the way she turned out...

So just under 2 feet tall... 9oz of merino wool and a bit of wire in the legs and neck (but not the body)

uhm...AMAZING!  The eyes and the expression are wonderful!

You did a fabulous job with proportion...and such patience to do all the spots!

Thanks for the action shot of you working on it...it gives a good idea of the size!
