I've found a place that sells musk ox for less than usual, but it hasn't been dehaired. How would I go about dehairing it? Do I just grab a piece and start pulling it out, or is there a tool you can use?

I'm confused; don't musk oxen shed their coats? There shouldn't be any hair, in that case, just downy undercoat. I've never bought any, so that's the extent of my potential helpfulness.

Dehairing at home can only be done by hand. It's not hard to find those guard hairs, they are incredibly obvious!
