I'm so glad everyone is crafting, or thinking along Smiley It sounds like we'll have some awesome items for the gallery!

I finished a medium item thanks to sitting in the waiting room for 5 hours while my uncle had a minor surgery. I am now ahead of schedule Cheesy

This next week at work is going to be super busy. We are gearing up for our biggest event of the year. I will be at work from 7:30am to 10pm that day!  Shocked As well as regular shifts the days before and after. So I'm glad I've got as much done on swap stuff as I have. Cause I very well might die...lol

I scored at the thrift store too and got a good start on my large. I'm kinda excited about it! I wasn't so lucky at the craft stores. None of them really had what I needed for the medium/small.  Sad I'm looking online to see if I can find what I need...

I'm away for a few days - with a perfectly portable piece to work on already packed. Smiley I'm not sure if I will have internet access or not.

Ack! Please don't die! Who then will receive my crafty stuff? lol. And try and take it easy. Fit some sleep and relaxing in there. Smiley
And I'm intrigued about your find! I love when I'm able to find something I didn't expect especially when craft stores are failing me  Undecided

We are moving next month so I will have to take random breaks during the day to pack boxes and clean our apartment. Stinking moving! Doesn't it realize I have more important things to do?!

I've been back from vacation for nearly a week but only just settling back into my life somehow.  For instance, I spent 4 days searching for ___________ so that I could finally start on a larger swap item.  It was under the couch where I swear I looked on day 1!  But I've finally started.  And restarted it 3 times now.  My concept might possibly be a bit more ambitious than my actual skills.  We'll see.  Some smaller items are working out better though so at least there's that.
All this talk about thrift stores has made me feel like I should visit the one in my neighborhood.  I don't need anything for this swap but who knows when inspiration will hit.
I borrowed the 2 Hobbit movies from a co-worker and started watching last night.  While I'm still skeptical of the way the book was extended to 3 movies, I'm really enjoying the dwarves!

Everyone crafting along well? I have VBS every night this week and I get to work in the craft room. That means lots of paint, paper, and 'artistic' kids. It's going to be a blast Wink

I'm about halfway I think. The craft I was most worried about worked out well and next week I'll be away from home but I'm taking some of my supplies and after that I should be 3/4th of the way. Then I'll only have to finish up the biggest item. I'm having fun trying out lots of new techniques.
