Anybody else go through periods where it seems like no projects ever go right?? I was ready to gouge my eyeballs out with the seam ripper on this one. The leopard is a lightweight chiffon type fabric that will fray apart if you look at it wrong. Had to go back and reinforce all the seams, the armholes ended up larger than the sleeves, and the bias binding which I took from the original shirt and used to measure the neck hole ended up short. So then I had to make a small section of bias binding and patch it all together. The whole thing ended up pretty jimmy-rigged. I was going for a drapey loose shirt anyway so it didn't feel like it would matter much. It's pretty wonky. And I'm pretty mad about the whole fiasco.

And I'll shut up and move on to pictures:

never done a bias neckline before, probably should've done an easier fabric for a first try.

This is very clever! Offers the versatility of a solid with the fun of a pattern.
