I feel like I just won the Altered Spool lottery!  I received mine yesterday from rackycoo..and I win, hands down! Grin

May I present my own little mermaid!

Racky teased me by stating that she was using an ugly pair of earrings...do you know what the earrings are now?  Take a guess...

Love the tiny shell bra and the sequin scales!

Here she is displayed in all of her glory!

Thank you, rackycoo...btw--you do know this is our first official swap after all of these years? Grin

Glad she made the trip ok, and that I finally found a use for those earrings.

And yes, I can't believe this was our first official swap. That's crazy, I tell ya.

Love that fairy house and all the fiber on it!

That creepy childhood spool is so eerie!! Love it!

Ooooo sparkly mermaid!! Way cool, racky!

Thanks everyone for tr nice comments on my spool. I did draw that face onto the moon with an artist pen using tiny dots. I had to do two since my first face was rather large and I didn't like how it looked. It might appear someday on something else. Smiley

More fabulous spools!  The creepy doll is awesome!  I love the hands covering it's eyes.

The mermaid spool is fabulous!  So cute.

Thanks for more pics of the cottgae spool...it's adorable and I didn't realize there were two roofs there. Really nice!
Edel, that is one creepy/cool shrine! I love the hands over the eyes and the Victorian feel of the piece.
