Hi Ohmystars,

This is my first ever posting to this forum!  I have been a browser for a month now.  I absolutely LOVE your design, and thank you so much for sharing your pattern with everyone.   As I was trying it yesterday, I found myself a bit confused with your pattern since I AM a beginner knitter.  I was wondering if you could clarify some things for me.....

1) After doing 6 rows of 2X2 ribbing, Next row "k2, work 2 lace patt reps, k2".  What does "Work 2 lace patt reps" mean when the lace pattern consists of 4 rows?

2) In your lace pattern, row 3 says, "s3k", I wasn't sure what the meant and I couldn't find the abbreviation anywhere at all.

Any help would be apppreciated.

Thanks,
lumpui  Lips sealed

1. this just means you're working the pattern twice each row - makes sense as it fits twice into each row

2. s3k is like ssk but you slip 3 sts and knit them together

I'm stuck on the same bit Lumpui, have you managed to work it out. I've followed the instructions but I left with four stitches at the end so I must be doing something wrong. I take it that you knit 2, then follow the instructions for row 3 (so I then did k1, k3tog, yo,k1 4 times, s3k,k1 then end with k2. I've just thought does the yo,k1 count as five because you do one and then you repeat 4 times? Help.

Hi Sarah,

Unfortunately, I am also running into the exact same problem.   Hopefully, someone can enlighten us.
