Does anyone know where to buy stretchy fabrics with a galaxy/nebula type print all over it?
I bought a few pairs of leggings in the past couple years that are just stretchy polyester and lycra and love them. They were cheap (only about $12 a pair at Rue 21). I wear them a lot because theyre so comfy..up until now. I am 5 months pregnant and the waist bands are jabbing into my baby bump Sad I would love to just make some myself but I can't seem to find the fabric ANYWHERE...which is strange considering how popular those types of leggings are now. I found one site with nebula print fabrics but it was just cotton and almost $20 a yard. Ugh..

Why don't you just get some plain ones that are comfortable and paint/dye them yourself?

That looks to be the only option, really! Also will just make the leggings myself, too...since even the ones labelled 'XL' still have too tight of a waistband for a pregnant belly. I mean I guess I could dish out $50+ or some 'maternity leggings' (why are maternity clothes so overpriced? lol)..but umm... nah.. I think I will just sew them myself & do the paint job as you suggested.. that would make them more fun/special anyways Smiley

Exactly!  I too have never understood why they charge so much for something you can only wear for just a few months.  Unless you are planning on popping out lots and lots of babies, of course!

What about getting regular leggings, cut out a big "U" at the stomach and sew something stretchy into the "U"?
