Haven't posted here in forever but my mini cake making has been ever so busy.

A few new techniques. I've been using puff paint once baked over ribbon. It creates a cool 3D icing effect. The 2 tier one above I pressed clay into a textured bit of foam for that linen effect then rubbed brown pastels over it.

OMG these are amazing! I would kill to have a miniature of my wedding cake, it was handmade by one of my friends and cutting it up broke my heart!

How adorable!  They are so exquisitely made!  All that fine detail work is just incredible Smiley
The last one is amazing, I love all its elegant ivory flowers.
Honestly, I feel like I'm looking at real cakes, it's tempting me to go find cake to eat Smiley

Adorable - I could not tell what it was in the main screen, from the small thumbnail sized pic.  The detail is great!
