My hubby once made a crack that I always make stuff for other people but not for him. This is mostly because the majority of my crafts are not things he would actually use.
So, after he ended up going out of town for work for two weeks, I decided to surprise him with a present. It turned into a set of three because I couldn't stop at one.



He liked them so they were worth the hours of work. Took much longer then I originally expected.

These are stunning.  I never heard of recycled can mosaics but it is the most beautiful idea. These are such works of art. This rocks.

Thanks guys!

I purposely spaced the pieces a bit apart to leave room for the silver paint 'grout'. I was pleased with the effect.

I might make some other ones at some point, but like I said, they were more time-consuming than I predicted.

That is amazing, I like starcraft and recycling and it is amazing, how do you do that??  You have to tell us how to do that Cheesy  and I need to find some cans of that colors to do something similar xD
