Mistress Jennie: I did the Choose Your Champion Challenge as well. I made Sushi Rice and Edamame for Japan (its on pg 24). Just wanted to be sure that my team gets the points just in case my project got overlooked. Thanks

Don't worry, you got the points.  You just missed the list within that post when I was scrolling through the mega huge spreadsheet I use to keep track of House Points.

For everyone whose ever wondered what it's like to track House Points and projects, here's a screen cap of my House Point spreadsheet, reduced down until the whole thing fits on the screen.  Usually, I can only see about 1/4 of it at a time while updating it, because it is so big and contains so much information.  This is why I ask that people use the project header, and why I ask people to put multi-project posts in alphabetical order.  Scrolling around this thing is a pain!   Cry

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

misjiffsjoy, Simone's bed is just lovely. Amazing work on the mattress especially!

vvb, love your super secret Hallowe'en swap item!

Moonflame, all of your bitty sweets are the bestest things ever! And I'm looking forward to your catnip tyrant series...Ha! (Our kitty is named Chaircat Mao.)

Headmistress, I bow to you and your organization. I solemnly swear to alphabetize all future multi-project posts!

gaudiknight, your angel food cake looks lovely, and it sounds so good with summer berries.  Cheesy  Please remember however, that in order to receive House Points for a cooking project, you must post the recipe in the thread, or provide a link to the complete recipe that you used if you found it on the web.  This rule is listed on the first page of the HPC thread, and it was discussed very recently within the thread.  Here's a quote of the questions & answers...

OK.  Thanks for the heads up.  It's been a while since I have read all the way through the beginning material.  I'll probably have to find another project for the June detention, as the cake was more an experiment to figure out the idiosyncrasies of a new oven (which turned out to be Legion) than about trying a new recipe.

Pinterest is back up-to-date

I've actually managed to start my new OWL (the other 2 were only in planning stages). Proud of that!! Wink

Also found 2 charities I will be doing some crochet for (and earning my first SPEW points): our local Cats & Dogs home, and The Little Yellow Duck Project - might even give some duckies to my mum to distribute in Germany after her visit. Smiley

Loving everyone's crafts! All the food posts got me inspired so I had a crack at it myself. Smiley

    Class/Challenge/House Pride: History of Magic
    SPEW: N/A
    House: Slytherin
Project Name: Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookies
Project Page Link (if available): N/A
Brief Description: I grew up in a single parent household, almost everything was made from scratch because it was cheaper. When we were little my mum taught us to bake and me and my brother used to fight over who got to dump the cup of whatever into the bowl, so in honour of that I baked some chocolate chip cookies! Smiley Unfortunately they are not the ones my mum makes, but they are still delicious. The recipe can be found here, enjoy! : http://allrecipes.com/recipe/tiffanys-chocolate-chip-cookies/detail.aspx

    Class: MS
    House: ravenclaw
    Project: Lettering signs
Muggle photos don't move? So... they take lots of them and put them in order to tell a story? But how do they know what order they go in? To help me keep things clear, I made some signs to hold in our muggle photos of the colour run. Since you start out the run clean, I left the 'before' signs blank... but everyone finished the run covered in colourful paint, so I asked the kids in my family who were running to help me by colouring in the 'after' signs
