So if you want to dabble in weaving, how do you get into it without buying a big loom?
Is there a cheap and easy option?
What kind of weaving is there available?

Try pin weaving! Its really fun and all you need are a pizza box and sewing pins :-)

I've fallen in love with various hand/simple weaving techniques.

I started with straweaving -- where straws held in you hand are the loom and made some dolls and small weavings, which led to stick weaving which led to pegloom weaving --- all this in the space of less than a month.

Then I wanted circles and saw circle weaving on the web with plates. It's been a very busy and exciting June for me.
