Because this gallery needs some stuff in it, here's what I sent to grasshopper (she's been busy taking care of her mom)  Smiley

Love the fairy on the rock!!!!

Ditto ditto ditto!

Thank you!  She was fun to make.  Smiley

Can you describe what you did, please?  So curious about the figure itself -- size, where it came from or if you made it, the wings, etc.

A very nice piece of work (the other two aren't so shabby, either!), and I can see it standing on its own (maybe with a mirror underneath) or as part of a larger setting.

Thanks!  The fairy is a modified HO scale model train figure (about 3/4 of an inch tall), this guy:

These plastic figures are easy to carve with an Xacto knife and smooth with a little piece of fine sandpaper.  Her flower skirt is made of construction paper and her hair bun is a dot of acrylic matte medium.  She's painted with model acrylics. Her wings are cut from the clear window from junk mail.  Smiley

Thanks!  The fairy is a modified HO scale model train figure (about 3/4 of an inch tall) . . . .

Thought she might have been an HO figure but WOW, I never would have dreamed she started out as a business suited man!  And haven't seen colorless (for lack of a better term) figures before, only painted ones (and, of course, some better defined than others, too).

Again, great job.

Thanks!   Smiley  The unpainted figures are quite inexpensive.
