CONGRATS Bunny1kenobi! Ludi! & Smeddley!

Prompt: Team Spirit - Knowledge is Power
Team: Wordy
Event: Craftology
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Jungle Reclamation
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: In September I bought a house with an amazing Japanese garden and koi pond. I was reassured it would be no problem. It's a problem!  Tongue I am absolutely horrible at gardening and have NO idea which is a weed and which is "ground cover". It all looks the same to me. For my project I went out with my Mom and pulled weeds and tried to reclaim the jungle that had become of my garden. Fun Fact: Just because it has a flower on it doesn't mean it's a flower. It can still be a weed.  Undecided
 Project Picture:
Before. Apparently these are all weeds.

I added the mushrooms below the birdbath.

This is one of the paths that kind of disappeared recently. For some reason Craftster is making this sideways...

The structure at the end is my bunny, Bunicula's, cage.

Prompt: Team Spirit - Randomizer - Time Machine
Team: Wordy
Event: Fabricology
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Doll Clothes
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: My Nieces b-day is on the 15th and I decided to make her some clothes for her Journey Girl. They are like American Girls but bought at Target and are the same size 20". I remember how much I LOVED when my Mom would make my Barbies clothes as a child. And I also super glad these dolls are bigger because I think Barbie clothes would be a huge pain, but these were fun to make.
Project Picture:
I wanted to give her some mix and match options. I loved this pattern because there was NO Velcro. LOL!

This was the first one I made. A simple A line dress.

and my favorite. A fancy dress in a zebra print.

Some weeds make the best groundcovers!  I'm particularly fond of Horseherb and Frog Fruit.  Smiley

sammylouise40 - Your pages look great!  I really love the rain one, and the girl one turned out so nicely!

gozer - Wow!  I bet you were tired after all that work in your garden!  What a beautiful area!  Those doll clothes are fantastic, too!  I am wishing I knew a kid with a 20" doll so I had a reason to make clothes.  I was thinking I might just make some anyway, since I have my Molly American Girl doll stashed away in a box somewhere from when I was a kid.  Grin

Ludi - Your snail and mushroom mini shrine is awesome!  I'm guessing you made the mushrooms and snail, too!  Even cooler!  Cheesy

The shell is actually a real tiny snail shell, but I sculpted the rest.  Smiley

Wow, Nerd of the Week?  Thanks, guys! I'm in some amazing company, that's for sure!

Everybody's been so busy over the weekend!

Gozer, your yard is looking fantastic, and how cute are those doll clothes?

Ludi, I'm so digging the tiny shrine.  I'm all about tiny! Cheesy

Sammylouise, I really like your stormcloud page.  (I like that song, too!)
