I was inspired to make these from a picture I saw on Pinterest of cute white kitty planters made from soft drink bottles (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/127437864429724028/). I saved up some bottles from my recycling, cut them using scissors and a scalpel, and then spray painted them with chalkboard paint. I used chalk to draw on their faces, which worked out well for me because it was really easy to correct mistakes! ^____^

Oh these are delightful!  I have an inherited Jade plant that I know several cousins would love to have cuttings from, now I know what I'm going to start them in!!

That's so awesome that you made one Kittykill! If you still want to try making a bear, I do have templates for all of them on my blog: http://teaandcraft.blogspot.com.au/2014/02/cat-rabbit-and-bear-recycled-planters.html (mods, if this is not allowed, sorry & please let me know so I can take this out!)

And thank you Ceduke, Faesissa, Kjlutz, and LimeRiot!! It's so nice being able to recycle for a project, and they make great housewarming gifts too ^____^
