Two new quilts I finished!

I've made a few quilts before these but I still consider myself new to quilting. The other quilts I have made I'm pretty sure have all been patterns that use all square pieces. These are the first ones I've tried that used triangle pieces. I thought it would be a lot harder to match but it actually went pretty well. It was no harder than squares just have to make sure to pay attention to your seams. I had a pick one or two apart and re-do them to get them to line up better  Wink

I think the star one is my favorite because its just so bright and colorful. The black and white chevron was fun and I definitely like the contrast between the red backing. Comments welcome Smiley

Those are both very nice!!  I do like the star one better because of the bright colors.

Both of them are lovely. My favourite is actually the chevron. I love the different fabrics in it which give a 3D effect.

Both quilts are beautiful. The colorful stars are bright and happy. The black and white chevron are elegant and stylish. I like them both.

Both are lovely.  I think the fact that you found triangles so easy is a testament to your piecing skills.  Your points are so perfect!

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
