YAY for crafty moms - and crafty families in general!

My grandmom used to knit and sew for everyone too.  She used to like to grow gourds and dry them for birdhouses and the like too, when my grandparents still had their farm.  My aunts made awesome lace crocheted pieces (and I am hoping to inherit some of the pieces they gave my mom).  My sister sewed her own wedding gown, one of the gowns for the banquet, my mother's MoB dress, my dress for her wedding, as well as curtains and the like for her first house.  Apparently my second oldest niece loves to make elaborate tea parties for her friends, including French macaroons from scratch, including grinding the almonds for the flour.  I used to love babysitting when they were younger because I would bring over crafty things to do, like making Christmas ornaments, and I loved getting homemade ornaments from them from Christmas too.
