here's some cards i made for a swap recently.  I got the idea from quartney and her awesome stationary in the Dollar Store Craft Challenge.  <Thanks!  Wink>

I actually got these cards from Target, they were $1.49 i believe.  i also got a set of Tonka Truck Cards that were very cute, but i don't have a picture of those.  then i just got some tissue paper from the dollar store and took my solid colored card stock and went crazy.  i found the easiest way to glue them on was with my plain old craft bond glue stick.  although i did have some issues with the tissue tearing...hence the off center cards.  Wink  anyway, here's a pic...enjoy!

Very cute and creative. Reminds me of the good old days of playing candyland. Ya know, without a worry in the world.

I've never played Candyland before (my childhood was spent in China), but those are quite whimsical. What's the goal of the game?

Ming, Candyland is a preschool board game ( 3 - 5 yr olds)  Basically, it's to teach them to take turns.

Family night was my favorite when I was a kid because we would play lots of board games.  I've been meaning to find crafty uses for nostalgic old games.  These are great!

Those look great. I was thinking of doing something similar too after seeing quartney's set. Thinking of using Harry Potter cards.
