IThis is my newest nephew wearing his princely robes and crown I made him from Red Heart Super Saver yarn.  The trim is white super saver yarn and white eyelash yarn to give it that "fur" look.
I purchased the pattern from here: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/162339130?ref=fb2_tnx_title
The first time I made it the crown was so tiny it would fit a cat! I emailed the designer and she told me that I must crochet very tightly (I don't think so) and to go up a needle size of two.  I tried 2 sizes bigger and it was two big so I tried a 6.5 mm hook and the crown looked about right finally.  Judging by the way the robes looked on my nephew I obviously should have made the robes a tad bigger by adding maybe 10 to 15 more rows. The crown could have been just a tad smaller as well. The outfit is absolutely great looking but I am not sure if the pattern  was just poorly written or maybe it was just me.  I struggled and struggled to make it and was extremely glad to be finished with it. Thanks for looking.

He looks absolutely stunning in his robe of honour. He will grow into it. And then out of it  Grin And his cousins can get it next...or the neighbor's kids...or the dog  Cheesy Don't mean for that to sound distasteful...doggies like to dress up, too  Wink They are just four footed family members.

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.
