I keep hearing about it, but I don't get it.  Could someone explain it to me please?

Wow, amazing, I put "Freezer Paper" in the search, and the first thing that popped up is a tutorial on how to do it.

No, Ive heard wax paper will just melt and make a huge mess. I havent tried the freezer paper method because I have a lot of silk screening supplies available, though.

Its not the same as wax paper, but my mom told me its the same as butcher paper??? I think that's what she called it anyway, the paper they wrap meat in at a butcher.  I haven't tried that myself though.

It only has waz on one side otherwise it'll melt all over your iron. It's also a thicker weight paper that usually comes in brown or white. Same as buthcher paper and my florist also uses it.

If i were to say, put paper over the wax paper, would it still kind of work?I'm trying to avoid leaving the house, cause of my inability to drive and the 108+ temp Smiley

try it and find out. use a small scrap of fabric you dont want and see if it'll work.
