I finished this project for a swap a LONG time ago (like last September) but never got around to posting it in here. Came across the photos this weekend and thought I would share with you!  I've been a little lazy with my stitching lately but looking at this helps me feel inspired to start up again. I really need to get out of my craft funk!

This is all seed beads embroidered/sewn onto cotton fabric. I can't remember the exact hoop size but I'm guessing its a 6 inch hoop. It's the first time I've ever done something like this and I think it actually came out really well! I was inspired by my swap partners pinterest board, where she had pinned several 3D beaded birds. I stitched down each bead individually, as opposed to laying a rowof them down. I tried both techniques and while doing a row at a time would have probably been faster I found it was difficult to get the beads exactly where I wanted them and I felt I had more control sewing each individual bead. I hope it's held up for my partner!

I would love your thoughts! I really want to make more embroidery like this, but maybe incorporate regular stitching too.

Sewing the beads on one by one must have been a lot of work, but it sure turned out great.
