First, I want to say THANK YOU to Kendaljay!  I love love love what you sent!   I will post pictures in the next day or so, but I love it all!

I got an adorable journal with Curious George on the cover and little pictures throughout, a Curious George Bookmark with buttons hanging off the top, a very cute bracelet with monkeys and bananas hanging off, and a picture of Kendaljay's very cute monkey (he's stuffed...).

Also, Grashopper's Mom - I finally got my crazy box in the mail to you.  They said you should have it by Monday, so hope you like it!  The DC is: 0304 1560 0004 7525 1461.

Grasshopper - let me know when you mom gets her stuff.  The USPS says it was delivered.  I can also post pictures if you'd like. Smiley

OHMIGOSH!!  I picked up Mom's box today!  She loved it!!  You made an old lady's day!!!  Okay, so she's not that old but you still made her day!!  She is in total awe of the kite!  She is going to hang it in her studio!  And, as soon as she opened the envelope, she put on the necklace, earrings, and a pin!  You are FABULOUS!!!  Please post pics!  Your angel package should be in the mail in the next couple of days!!!

And, Julie85- I'm going to the P.O. in the morning!!

*whew!*

I'm so glad to hear it!  I was wondering if that was too weird, and hoping it didn't get messed up in the mailing!  It took me a while to make, so that's why I was so late. Smiley  It makes my day to know she liked it all!

I'll post pictures when I get home tonight!

So, I sent Grasshopper's Mom a kite made with each page's art from the beautiful kite book she sent, 3 bookmarks from the same book (Shibumi and the Kitemaker), a kite necklace made from origami paper and beads, and 4 pins - 2 shrinky images from that book sewn onto felt, and 2 images from the other book she sent, the Paper Bag Princess (one shrinky, one decoupage on wood).  She sent such great books with such fun art, I had to use the images in the work.  Obviously I used the kite theme a lot. Oh my gosh, Sparky!  Your projects are *wonderful*!!  That kite is so gorgeous with all those lovely images.  No wonder she's putting it in her studio!  Great job on the jewelry and pins too.  I'm sure that after receiving such a well crafted package, it was worth the wait.   Cheesy
