My antique sap bucket fell apart. the base was awfully pretty and I steamed and weighted it for a couple of days to get it nice and flat. I took corks and created a mini bulletin board. Originally I planned on smothering the thing with corks but realized that would cover up all the nice bucket bottom. so I created a sunbursty design and it works just fine.
The four cork circles in the middle hold all the pins.
Can't seem to get the first pic to turn and crop and stay that way! but you get the idea...

And here it is filled up.
