My lil one will turn 6 in less than a month, and OF COURSE she wants a Frozen party Cheesy

So, we started with making goody bags last night.
(I'm so fed up with the cheap plastic c*ap landfill toys for goody bags, so I wanted the kids to make something and with good quality materials- so they will be getting selection of glass beads and pearls and organza ribbon, snowflake charm and clear stretchy thread to create their own icicle bracelet Smiley).

My kids made theirs last night and loved the results Smiley

(I sorted the kits in little apple sauce cups to make it easier and purchased little cello bags and stickers online ... and also had ordered  a huge baggie of beads from Firemountain Cheesy

I'm pretty happy with how they look Wink

- next will be white shiny branches for decor- pictures coming soon...

Thanks! I just counted today and we managed to invite 17 kids!
EEK!

(I was allowed to invite 2,5 kids, when I had my Bdays, cause mine was together with my sister and we both had to invite a mutual friend, so it left me 2 other friends Tongue ... so 17 is a LOT!)

And I finished the Olaf goody bags today- with 3 big marshmallows (body), 2 small marshmallows (feet), 5 mini chocolate chips (eyes, buttons) and 2 pretzel sticks (arms), plus an apricot fruit leather triangle (nose).
I added "do You want to build a snowman with N.?" to Olaf's picture and printed it out, some stickers and ribbon and it's all done. I bet the little boys will like it better than the bracelet kits- but they can all have 1 of each, if they desire Tongue
Somehow we managed to make 23 of these bags!!!
I also finished the name banner Smiley

Thank You, Lime! Smiley
I haven;t made "super fun" parties in couple of years (after like 5 yrs of 1-2 kid parties a year, I think I got burnt out), but, my life is changing around me and kids are getting bigger, so I really want to try and make it more fun, as long as I'm able to.

I made 2 poster "paintings" today - well, with pearly watercolors [love!!!], sharpies, pencils and more glitter, mixed with mod podge... so, they're not "serious paintings" but party decor and the Olaf one is just a "pin the nose [stickers] to Olaf" game.

We also ordered 40 snowballs, that people seem to love- then we can do the snowball toss game and keep them for lazy weekend snowball fight days Smiley

Mr. is talking about buying lots na dlots of packaging peanuts and making a "snow pit" with them- sounds really fun Smiley
And we bought a snow cone maker as another main attraction of the party... it's in 6 days
:S

(I used a couple of pictures for reference, as I wanted Elsa to look friendlier, than she does in most pictures.

The eye detail:

I also made an Olaf pinata out of 2 balloons in paper mace technique and it held strong for exactly 15 kids, as we needed, and some of them hit that thing so hard! The 11 yo guest, who was last in the line, due to her size, got to hit a pinata for the first time in her life and kill it, poor Olaf never saw that one coming! Cheesy

I made a bunch of those cotton balls on the fishing line snow decorations and branches painted white, tissue pom poms and paper snowflakes, clear and blue glass marbles... my friends made her a beautiful dress and crochet hair clips and we had delicious tiny blue cupcakes from my friend's etsy shop.
We were so lucky to have so many friends stop by and my little one had such an amazing day Smiley

Thank You! Smiley

Girls can be fun... I should start planning for the other girl's party in a month, but we don't even have a theme yet!
