I made a set of mini Olliblock like monsters for the recent OTST swap. You can build your own monster and have a new one every day!

The blocks are only 1" square, 1/2 the size of Olliblocks and hand drawn. I have since traced them on my computer so I can make more, but the hand drawn ones are the best.

Very cute I love them. I made my Grandson a set of the Ollie blocks for Easter since I have no drawing ability. I am curious where did you purchase your blocks? I bought mine from Amazon but they were expensive  ten blocks cost 13.00 .

I have a friend with a workshop. He made the blocks for his son, who was going to use them for a project and then never used the. He gave me a box of 1", 1 1/2" and 2" blocks. SCORE!

So sorry, unless you can cozy up to a wood worker, maybe trade blocks for cookies?, I can't help you.

Do you have anyone in high school in shop? Is there a woodworking shop in your town? The local handyman? Wood alphabet blocks from the toy store or thrift store. You could replace the alphabet with Olliblock pics.

These are so cute!  I could totally get either my husband or my youngest son to cut out some blocks for me.  (I'm scared of the band saw)   Grin

Here's another version...these are the commercially available Olliblock characters. They have lots of themes. You purchase the PDF, print them out and mod podge them to 2" or 1.5" blocks.  Check out http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=433220#axzz30VzVT4GI for an example...and the link to the Olliblock site is in the first post. Very cute!

Simple, but very cool--the mix-and-match potential is great, and I love that you chose monsters as the subject matter.
