I created a pattern for this quick easy infinity scarf that resembles crochet but is actually achieved by knitting.

A more detailed version of the pattern can be found at this link:
http://www.theknittygrittynyc.com/blog/2014/4/24/faux-crocheted-infinity-scarf

Supplies: 2 Skeins of Cascade Baby Alpaca Chunky and Straight Needles Size 11 or 13.

Cast on 28 Stitches

1st Row(right side): Purl all stitches.

2nd Row: Knit all stitches.

3rd Row: K2, *sl 1, k1; rep from * to end of row.

4th Row: *K1, yf, sl 1, yb; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2.

5th Row: K1, *yo, k2tog; rep from * to last st, k1.

6th Row: Purl all stitches.

repeat these 6 rows until you've used almost all of your 2 skeins of yarn. When I completed my scarf it measured approx. 68" in length and 7" in width. Bind Off from your needles, spray block to 87" long x 5.5" wide, then knit together opposite ends.
