Last night, I decided to play with my fiber blending board and let my 7 year old pick out the colors. By the time we got everything out, all four of my children decided they needed to be involved. So I let them all pick some colors they thought should go into the rolags (it is all Sheep Shed Studio Dye Soppers). I had intended that to be the extent of their help, but they had other ideas. While I was putting away the fiber they did not choose, they started loading up the board. The two year old was especially into this part. They didn't help much beyond the first layer of the first batch, but they had fun.

I wasn't too sure about the colors when they chose them, but I think the rolags turned out pretty. Not sure how it will look when I spin them up, but that's okay.

You are making me really want to make some rolags lately. Too cute! What a great idea letting the kids help in some way.
