Im not really one for mermaids that much, but after wet felting this piece of felt with lots of fibres and texture, it was screaming mermaid, seaweed, and the ocean to me. Sometimes fabrics just talk to you....
 You cant really see by the pics, but she has a sewn on seashell and lots of bead work and embroidery. Her tail is sewn on seperately so she can sit with it danglling down.
Well out came this little mermie gal!

I LOVE this! I'm so totally inspired to make little mermaids now. I have tons of scraps that would be great for fins and tails, Awesome!

She is totally the sweetest darling mermaid I ever saw! You are a real artiest. I love her face so detailed. Did you paint or use pens? LOVE her tail too & all the beads & hand sewing is great!!
