Those are adorable!

I've never used magnetic closures, so if it were me, I would sew in magnets.. I'm sure thats not the way tho!

I got my magnetic snaps at Joann's, in the purse handle section.

I get mine from www.homesew.com , its like a discount supplies place, the catalog has some great deals in it..like neodymium magnets in round or square for 1.95 each (cheaper then my local hancocks, my jo ann's don't have even handles let alone magnets ) those are the super strong ones ...and the small magbetic clasps 5/8  are 3 for 2.95...but the best deals are in the back of the catalog, for instance like 15 pkgs of bias tape for 3 bucks or 32 yds of trims for a 1.50..its like a grab bag kinda thing, they pick, but I have yet to be disappointed..

it was actually a placemat i got for less than 50 cents. i ripped the seam so that i can put in the lining, and i sew it back up, fold in half, and voila!

do you guys think people will actually buy them?

They're adorable, I think if you find the right market they will surely be sold!! You should search for the ideas/hints on selling crafts here on  the site!
