What are some really really nice thrift stores in Southwestern CT? I'm running out of places to go. Bleh.

Thanks.

Have you tried the ones in Greenwich and New Canaan?  The Greenwich Hospital has a thrift shop,  which is supposed to be good.

What are you looking for?  Some of the consignment stores around here are good, too.  But face it, Fairfield County is expensive!

Don't forget to look in your local thrift stores for your crafting supplies. Please check out my national directory of thrift stores at preg_replace('/(.{19})/', '$1 ', 'www.TheThriftShopper.Com') for your shopping convenience.

I haven't found any thrift stores as amazing as the ones you would find in the city and I've done more than my fair share of searching. There isn't anywhere that always has good stuff. I've found some awesome stuff at Goodwill (either the one in Westport or the one in Norwalk). There's also a place called Trash in Danbury that's pretty sweet depending on what you're looking for. Let me know if you discover any hidden gems. =)

Oh gosh, I was on the way to a New Britain Rock Cats game last weekend, and I passed a Salvation Army that sold items by the pound! I wish I had more information, but I'm pretty sure it was in New Britain.  Undecided

Hi,

What kind of "stuff" are you looking for in a thrift store?

Peace,
Karen
