I'm trying to narrow down between a couple of themes and then onto starting. Have the pattern all ready to go  Cheesy I see a couple of black apple dolls being made - all in the name of practice  Grin

I'll be going out tomorrow afternoon so I will go to Staples to enlarge the pattern. After that I will check my fabric stash to see if there is something I can use.

I'm glad "mamarose22" you seam to feeling better!

I'm ready to start my doll. I have it all figured out what I'm going to make & I've enlarge the pattern. So I'm ready to cut out the doll & start sewing, Yeah!! Then make the clothes & accessories. I'm in my favorite element, doll making!

My ankle is getting better.  I was able to drive to Staples this afternoon and I enlarged the pattern.  Now I have to see what fabric I have..

I'm checking in!  My progress thus far:

Doll for Mama24boyz - front and back assembled.  Face needs to be worked on then sew 'er up! Smiley  I really really love this one...  I'm not gonna want to let her go, hahaha.

Doll for Ale0059 - Front assembled, back mostly done,  the hair is giving me issues on this one, but I hope it'll come out ok!  I need to still do the face too.

I'm really having a ton of fun with these.  I'm working on some embellishments for both that I hope will come out pretty good.

Is anyone else hand sewing?  I started on my mom's machine, but... I don't know if I'll be able to finish on the machine. :/

I'm using the sewing machine, of course.  I haven't worked on it yet.  I think I have the fabric selected.  I will start cutting tomorrow.  I don't know yet what details I will add to the doll,

Did a little of mine... used the machine so far, but I have to hand stitch the curved parts because I'm not that skilled Smiley
