Details of swap:
Remember these little darlings? A Black Apple doll is a simple, but fun ragdoll pattern shared by ETSY superstar Emily Martin. (pattern is attached to the link below in a PDF)

I have used the pattern to make all kinds of fun little dolls - elves, fairies, angels, witches, Little Red Riding Hood. I've added yarn hair, capes, hats etc.
This is an easy-peasy, fun, use-what-you've-got, knock-it-out-in-one-night Black Apple doll swap. I believe this would be round two. I think someone hosted one in 2008!

This is a 2 point swap. Make a great doll brimming with creativity and send it. That’s it!

Some examples:

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address including the country
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?

List a five or more crafting themes you like –AKA shabby chic, fairytales, zombies, kokeshi, fairies, Christmas –anything goes.

Do you have a Pinterest or other crafty website?

Do you have any allergies (smoke, pets, etc)?

Do you have any allergens (smoke, pets, etc) in your home/crafting space?

Anything else you would like your partner to know?

Also, remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find other rules about participating in a swap.

We have partners! These were done solely by looking at themes and who seemed to be liked minded in that respect. We do have one group of three. I did spell out the specifics --who swaps with who--but you could all agree to each make two dolls and swap with both in the group. LEt me know what you decide.

I'm going to make up one of this little pretties as a trial run, but I think I'll be signing up for this. Ragdolls are a bit out of my usual comfort zone but this looks like fun!

I haven't done a swap in such a long time.  I was in the first one.  I have a lot going on, but I might yet join in.  I'll keep checking in on this.

Mama24boyz, I think this swap is perfect for a beginner. They are very easy to put together and you can literally make them with scraps or fat quarters.

I do thickin up the legs and arms patternpieces a bit. It's easier to sew and turn.

These dolls are so cute! I'm not very experienced at sewing, but I do have a machine. This would be a good way to make myself practice more. I'll most likely be signing up!

This sounds so fun! Unfortunately it's not a good time for me right now with birthday parties, starting my garden, and a big vacation coming up. I'll be excited to see gallery pictures though.
