pattern is here...http://www.redheart.com/files/patterns/pdf/WR1034.pdf
im a fairly new crocheter I havent had any issues with this until just now, im doing the size medium.
Im at this part skip next 3 (5, 7) sts of last long row for leg opening; join yarn and work in pat across next27 (35, 41) sts for back for 10 (14, 18) rows, ive done the skip 5 stitches and the sc, lsc row and then come back (2nd row)doing sc as pattern calls for
my question is those 5 stitches I skipped do I now pick those up or keep them dropped as I continue my next rows? im making it for a birthday gift for my neice Smiley
any help is appreciated.

I took a look, can't really figure it out without actually working it. It seems like those skip stitches are for the little leg hole. Hope someone else jumps in for some help.

Hi all, I am new here. I have tried making this very pattern. I just found it easier to make the 3 pieces separately and then sew them all together. I have made 5 sweaters for my mini-pinscher/chihuahua mix, and wired hair terrier for the winter. All off this very pattern.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

Did the tutorial video included help? I'll go watch it and figure out where you are, but from your explanation it seems the five skipped stitches will be unworked and you'll come back to it to add the leg "sleeves".

Watched the video; leave them unworked (you'll join the skipped stitches on both legs later on by chaining.)
