My husband bought some pants that included a belt that he didn't want and crazyda79 sent me some She-Ra ribbon that I've been saving for a fun project. I put the two together to make a fun accessory.

It was surprisingly simple. I sewed the ribbon onto the belt at the top and bottom. I cut the belt to size and folded and hemmed in the fraid edge. I probably should have used a matching thread but I'm still happy with it.

It's not a mistake. It's...um...a design feature.

Great idea to dress up the belt your husband didn't want and turn it into a crafty beauty for yourself.

It really does! I like to wear it with my dress slacks under a large shirt. It is my way of still being me while having to dress formally for work.
