These are backpack puppets my kids and I made for a Halloween parade last year.  My son is a big fan of Lance Armstrong, and since he reclaimed the yellow jersey today at Le Tour de France, we took our Lance out for a celebration dance.   I meant to post these back in October...I just googled "giant puppets" and found lots of instructions.

(He needs a new jersey since he rides for Discover now.)
Hope you like these.  They were a lot of fun!

Thanks for all of the nice comments.  We love our Lance doll and "the lady". (She needs a name.)
They really do look like giant people walking down the street.  Its fun to take them for a walk just to be silly!

Whoa! I want a giant puppet! Really badly! Haha. Those look like they'd be fun to scare people with. Hahahahaha. I'm getting ideas...
