My latest painting, one I'm particularly excited about! If all goes as planned, this is the first of a series of five. Smiley

Its painted with acrylics, and adorned with gold leaf on a wooden panel measuring 10"x20".

Oh My Gosh! Totally strange, but I like it! The gilding of gold sets it off nice. And you have wonderful shading. And texture for the skin. {I have been up close with elephants, and know what they feel and look like} I can't wait to see your next in this series. Will you post it to this same thread? I also love the feathers.

Gorgeous!  Which sounds weird for a painting of an elephant, but that's the first thought that came to mind!

I have boxes of vintage piano music.  Some as old as 1890's!  PM me if you'd like some!

Wow. This is really well done. Would the other images in your series of 5 all be elephants as well? The feathers are the best part.

Thank you! One of these days I'll travel Africa, and have my fill of the nature and wildlife <3
I most likely will post them separately as I go along, but I will include links to the different pieces. Smiley

Thank you! The rest of the series will be different animals. Lion, leopard, rhinoceros, and cape buffalo are the ones that remain. Smiley
