I made this spring time hoopla for my partner in the Dreaming of Spring Swap.  The pattern comes from Polka and Bloom.  This pattern just made me smile and think of all kinds of fun spring things.

I love, love, love your background fabric. It fits very nicely with the scalloped edgeing. And it is a soft enough color to let your stitching show nicely. And all done in backstitch??? I love your little purple "stars". I don't know what that stitch is called...but you worked in nicely...to fill up the gaps. A very beautiful piece.....now make yourself one!  Grin

I rarely make things for myself!  It is all done in backstitch which is what I primarily use cause it's easy!

I've been doing embroidery lately. A lot of what I've done are Bible scriptures. The  I put a border around it and make a mini quilt out of them.
