I'm trying to figure out what type of crinoline i need for a dress I'm trying to crochet.
There's more detail behind it, but, I will make it short lol. I started crocheting a dress for a barbie doll i have and I had seen a picture of a piece of crinoline that was perfect for it. SO I did what I could to find the name of it and all I kept getting was "Worth era crinoline" or "1865 crinoline" and a whole slew of other names, like "elliptical crinoline" "walking crinoline" and so on.
it has a bit of a bustle at the back and it does fan out slightly at the end where the dress would touch the floor and the front of the crinoline is like an a-line style...? I don't even know if I'm explaining it right. It kind of looks like a triangle at the front and rounded at the back...? oh my goodness I don't even know if I'm helping or not and I can't find the original picture...I don't even know how I got to it in the first place.
I will do what i can to try and find it again but, I have no clue where to look first, and since this was about 2 weeks ago, i don't even know if my internet history would still have it.
any help at all in identifying it first would be great, that way i can try and figure out how to make one so small for my doll. Thank you all that do help and offer both advice and help, it's greatly appreciated
that is the closets i could find to it...unfortunately...and it's a complete dress...i will search for a better one but, it's sometihng to kind fo convey what i'm after, but, not with the back end that big lol.
