HI!!! I feel like I've been away from Craftster forever! (Technical difficulties, computer wouldn't connect, yada, yada, yada. But I'm back now! Yay!) And I want to share my latest pottery adventures with you! I've been working with stencils and colors a lot more and I'm having so much fun with it!

I'd love to know what you think! Constructive criticism is always welcome. Smiley

I love these little ring dishes. They're quick and easy to make which means that I can take more risks with them. I've been using them to test ideas and when they work out, I use those same techniques on larger pieces.

I've also been making some pet bowls. I really like the way the feathers look against the bright blue.

I love the stripes and dots together, but I'm not sure I like the way the blue interacts with the mustard yellow. It looks sort of greenish, don't you think?

Yay for yarn bowls! I really like this yellow one. It just seems so cheerful!

And I'm keeping this little vase for me! (That's the font and back of the same piece, btw.) Check out the way the undergalzes ran! It makes me so happy. This is my favorite thing that I've made in quite a while.

I really really love the little vase.  Of course you must keep it.  It is beautiful and the glaze is stunning

Your techniques are what makes your pottery stand out!

They are just so interesting and definitely conversation starters...I have to confess that some of the pieces I got from you were suppose to be gifts, but I could not part with them once I got them!

ha ha I am using the goldfish bowl as a crochet hook holder, my tree mug to hold my knitting stitch holders, and my yarn bowl to...hold my yarn! Grin

I love these new pieces!

The goldish color with the deep blue is very pleasing to me...and I love the lace patterns...I am so glad you worked out your tech issues to show off these new pieces!

Amazing new work!

I dig the blue and mustard. I see some green, but it's pretty subtle. Maybe it's more obvious in real life?

Either way, that mug is my fave piece in this batch.

I hate them all.  Grin Just kidding. You have great talent with the clay and glazes.
Pick a favorite? Feather bowl. I love the blue and brown together, too. And the crackle glaze underneath. And the detail for the feathering.
But they all are very pretty.
I agree with the blue over mustard yellow. It looks a bit rusty, but still a nice piece.
I'm glad you kept one for you. I have a hard time doing that with my art. I feel guilty. Roll Eyes

I try not to hoard them as I want others to have a chance to see your pottery up close...but, I can't help it...I want them for myself...practical and lovely is the way I enjoy my art.

I like the yarn bowl best.  Big fan of stencils since I can't draw.  Great ideas with the doilies.
