Hi, All -

I could really use some advice :-/ I'm working on a Jack Knight Starman cosplay for upcoming C2E2 and I'm not quite sure how to approach making the top of the staff.

I'm planning on doing the rod part out of PVC pipe, but the scoop at the top has me a bit worried. I could use some suggestions.

What about expanding foam? (You can sculpt, sand and paint it until it's the right shape)
