I am officially in love with a bag!! 2 years ago I saw an awesome bag while out and I recreated it. That bag is worn out and was in need of being replaced. A part of that bag that I loved was that it had ruffles. Here's a link to that first bag

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=405991.0#axzz2yJXpnC7V

I kept the ruffles, shortened the bag and added a zipper closure with a single adjustable strap. Instead of the shabby flower, this one has a tied on bow scarf. Bag is made of a linen look 100% cotton fabric in bleached white although it appears more antique white to me. Not pure white at all. Bag is large enough for a small diaper bag. It fits my RT tablet just fine!

Back where I added two slip pockets

Bow sash up close

Inside... pen pocket, and four slip pockets. Large enough for cells, etc.

With leftover scraps, I did this cell phone and CC wristlet to match.

Very cute!  I love that you updated it and added a splash of color with the bow.

Also, lots of pockets!

This is so pretty. The ruffles are lovely but my favourite bit is the contrast of the bow  Smiley

Don't really like bags, but this one makes me happy. It seems very functional without being over the top or too large, and cute at the same time.
