Hi! I just want to see which other fellow craftsters frequent anime conventions, comicons, ren faires, Pennsic Wars, faerie festivals, or any other sort of convention or faire!

Where do you go?

Do you have a booth or do you just go to enjoy it as a guest?

I just came home from the anime con Tekko in Pittsburgh, PA and had a BLAST as a guest. I met several cool vendors, and hung out with some friends of mine who were vending. The crafts and clothes and art were OUTSTANDING. I bought too much stuff, and not enough stuff, there was just soo much.

So I wanted to see if any of you were there, if you sell stuff, and if I could see some of you later in the season at other places.

Cheers!

I wish!  I used to like to go to cons, but they seem too expensive now....   Tongue

I don't know what Tekko charges for vendors. But I don't think it's expensive since I saw a lot of one and two-person operations. For a pre-registered attendee it was like $40 for the weekend. Smiley

Yea it can, which is why I stick to regional cons these days. Or get a $100 suite with five friends (most con hotels kinda wink at this) Smiley

I am so excited for Pennsic this summer. We're planning to camp, which is cheap. And if we get rained out, it's only 20 mins or so from where I live!

My big expense is the dealers room. I spend wayyyy too much money there!

How fun!  My sis goes to cons a lot; she likes to LARP and cosplay.   Smiley

Yea me too. That's what I bought in the dealer's room. I got some Gothic Lolita clothes and rennaisance gear for Pennsic. I was walking around thinking "I wonder if any of you are on Craftster..." so I decided to ask Smiley
