I finally got around to finishing the binding on my bargello.  Very chuffed with the final result.

All the dogs think it's great and they can't wait to dribble and shed all over it!

Very cool. I dig the back, too. Dogs are the best for wanting to be all over these things, right? Anytime I lay a project on the floor my dog is all up on it! I was laying out a top to sandwich the other day and it wasn't even 3 minutes before Nibs was all "Oh, this is a nice bridge to walk on!" So good luck with your dogs. Hopefully they don't ruin it. It is lovely.

Thanks!  Smiley  I've decided that I really like "reversible" quilts and may try and do most of my quilts like this - it's like getting two quilts for the price of one and a half!  XD

Pfft, tell me about it!  Between our dog, who liked to lie up against it when I had it laid out on our sofa at home, the dogs my quilt club teacher owns (she has five assorted collies, all of whom like to come and "help" when we're sewing) and now the five labradors we're dog-sitting for my aunt who's on holiday, this quilt has seen a lot of dogs!  It's staying very firmly folded up and out of reach until we're home again - I don't want it used in a tug o' war!  Shocked

It turned out very lovely!  I love how one side is so colorful and has tons of movement, while the other side is more tame and yet still striking!  It is two quilts in one!

You sure put a lot of work into this one but it was worth it!
