The need for this arose from a pile of closed boxes on my bathroom counter, holding my bracelets and earrings where I couldn't see them (or remember what I had). The inspiration came from a dessert tray a friend made using vintage plates and candlesticks (they are all over Pinterest). I found an awesome deviled egg platter at my local thrift shop, perfect for organizing earrings! Matching candlesticks secured with epoxy hold up 2 serving bowls for bracelets. It was super fun mixing and matching serving dishes at the thrift shop!

I love all the different things you used to put this together and it is very functional. I would keep it away from the bathroom sink though so nothing falls in that is if you don't have extending counter tops to a wall. A very creative way to use an egg platter.

It is far from the sink! Grin I've also started keeping the bathroom door closed for protection from cats!

Gasp!  I need this!  I need exactly this.  Using the egg tray as a ring holder?  Genius.
